Not legal advice
This restates the position that runs through the whole SiteDocs Pro site: we are a contract administrator, not a law firm.
We are not a law firm
SiteDocs Pro provides checklists, general information and contract-administration templates only. We do not draft contracts, provide legal advice, or create a solicitor–client relationship.
What our materials are for
Our checklists and templates are tools to help you review documents you have been given and administer your own project — vetting a quote, pressure-testing a contract you already have, running claims and variations, and signing off completion. That is the work of a contract administrator, not a solicitor.
Get independent advice when it matters
For drafting a contract, or handling a serious dispute, you should get independent legal advice from a qualified lawyer. Our materials are not a substitute for that advice; they are designed to make it cheaper and rarer.
Jurisdiction and currency
Laws and standard-form contracts vary by jurisdiction and change over time. You are responsible for ensuring a checklist is appropriate for your situation. References to standard-form contracts (such as Australian Standard or FIDIC forms) are for identification only and do not imply any endorsement of, or affiliation with, Standards Australia, FIDIC, HIA, Master Builders or any other body.
